Performance UNLIMITED: Helping You Move BetteR

Founded on expertise, driven by passion—Performance UNLIMITED provides hands-on, personalized care to help you recover, rebuild strength, and achieve your full potential.

OUR STORY

A Hands-On Approach to Lasting Recovery

Performance UNLIMITED was started by Dan Glatz, a licensed physical therapist and exercise expert, to change the way people think about physical therapy. Instead of just fixing injuries, we focus on helping the whole person—building strength, confidence, and the ability to move freely.

With over 25 years of experience, Dan has worked with athletes, active adults, and people recovering from injuries. He stays up to date with the best ways to help people move better, feel stronger, and reach their full potential. His passion for movement extends to all ages and abilities—he even created The Red Octopus program, a sports training program for kids with disabilities for his daughter Danni who has Downs syndrome, helping them focus on what they can do, not what they can’t.

At Performance UNLIMITED, we believe performance is more than just feeling better—it’s about discovering what’s possible. Whether you’re healing from an injury, training for a sport, or just want to be stronger and pain-free, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Dan Glatz PT, MPT, MS
Master Physical Therapist and Founder

Dan has over 25 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. Driven by his passion for high-quality, comprehensive care, he founded Performance UNLIMITED in 2006 to provide a holistic, results-driven approach to patient treatment. With a background in sports medicine, cardiac rehab, athletic training, and fitness, Dan saw the need for a clinic that prioritizes both performance and long-term recovery.

Inspired by his commitment to his patients and his daughter, Danni, who has Down syndrome, Dan also launched The Red Octopus, an adaptive sports program that focuses on abilities rather than limitations, creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities to participate and thrive.

He holds a Master’s in Physical Therapy (1998) and Exercise Physiology (1993) from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training (1991) from Mount Union University. His treatment philosophy emphasizes movement, stability, and balance to maximize recovery and performance.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, and their four children, Cassidy, Danni, Jessie, and Logan.

Doctor of Physical Therapy

A Western Pennsylvania native, Bill graduated from Mars High School in 2013 as a multi-sport athlete. He went on to play collegiate football while earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Westminster College in 2017. In 2019, he completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Duquesne University, gaining hands-on experience across various clinical settings.

Bill’s passion for sports performance and injury prevention led him to become a Sportsmetrics Certified Trainer, specializing in ACL injury prevention. More importantly for golfers, he is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified, allowing him to help golfers improve mobility, strength, and efficiency in their swing while reducing the risk of injury. Whether you're recovering from an injury or looking to enhance your game, Bill provides expert, golf-specific physical therapy and training.

Since joining Performance UNLIMITED in 2021, Bill has worked alongside Dan Glatz, delivering specialized care and performance training to help individuals regain strength, confidence, and reach their full potential.

Jonas Chan, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Jonas Chan has always been drawn to movement, competition, and connection.

A multi-sport athlete in baseball, football, and wrestling, Jonas graduated from Carrick High School in 2019 before heading to Slippery Rock University. There, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2023 and went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2025.

Outside the clinic, Jonas is a dedicated powerlifter and runner. He’s spent the past 6 years training and competing in powerlifting, while also chasing new endurance goals—including finishing a half marathon and setting his sights on a full one. When he’s not lifting heavy or logging miles, you can find him outdoors hiking or biking.

In the clinic, Jonas brings that same energy and drive to every patient. He has a special passion for working with athletes—particularly those in the lifting and running worlds—and thrives on helping others push past their limits and reach their full potential.

His final clinical rotation was right here at Performance UNLIMITED, where he says he found a second family.
